34 Weeks

How your baby's growing:

Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

I have been so scatterbrained lately. My mind just refuses to focus on one thing at a time. I can hardly even read books anymore. I can't concentrate on what I am doing, so I have to read sentences or paragraphs several times. In the end, it's just easier not to read. I have to find more simple entertainment, haha. Been watching lots of movies and tv shows lately.

Brandon got home Saturday night. It's definitely nice to have him back. And he even brought me all kinds of goodies. Very fattening goodies. My doctor won't like these, but I sure do :)
One of these being a butterfinger, which I ate last night. I forgot how good they were! I can't seem to find any place that sells them here, sadly. But it's probably for the best, haha.

Melissa is coming up in two days. And then Joseph and Jessica will be here Friday. And then the baby shower is Saturday. Should be a fun week! I'm pretty excited :)
