19 Weeks

How your baby's growing:

Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom —
about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

Brandon is working late tonight, and I don't seem to be very good at setting up a makeshift stand/tripod for the camera, so picture will just have to wait until tomorrow. Sorry guys.

Tomorrow we start our French class. I hope it goes well. Baby's gonna come out not knowing what language to speak  :P

Again, nothing really new to report. Baby is still growing. I am doing pretty good too. Can't really complain.
I went shopping yesterday and finally got some jeans that fit (tighter waist band), and it's nice to breathe in jeans again :)

And, in a little over a week, I'll be able to call Baby something other than Baby!  ;)

I expect a phone call shortly after you get done with the visit letting me that my little nephew/niece is not a little dinosaur, but actually a real baby boy/girl. ;)
